Should you be in the mood for some dinner and games with your drinks, Johnny’Z Pour House is the place to go. Inside, you’ll find entertainment from pool tables, video games, and darts; outside, you can challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes, spikeball, or cornhole in the expansive patio area. Alongside an extensive beer menu and a full bar, this gastropub offers a menu of crowd-pleasing favorites, such as the Notorious Mac ‘n Cheese and a build-your-own-burger.
Local Favorites
The Starlite Club is a local spot for those in the know, but you don’t have to be from here to feel like you’re part of the family at this quintessentially Wisconsin establishment. Quite literally a neighborhood bar—really, it’s located in the middle of a neighborhood—don’t let the location fool you. The unassuming brick exterior belies the interior full of enough space for a party to kick off at any moment. Regulars tout the build-your-own bloody marys—topped with meats and cheeses, of course—but there are also plenty of beers on tap and classic cocktails.
Is there anything more Midwestern than a supper club? Our own Village Supper Club opened in 1927 and has been family-run ever since. It’s the perfect, casual spot to enjoy a Saturday dinner of prime rib or snow crab legs.
They also offer a delicious vegetarian option. The Village Supper Club prides itself on a fully stocked bar—the perfect setting for a classic old fashioned!
Known for its friendly bartenders and equally welcoming patrons, Gordy’s Prairie Pub is a true Midwestern bar. The beauty of Gordy’s is in its simplicity. Pull up a barstool, order a bowl of their much-loved homemade chili, and get ready to strike up a conversation with the person sitting next to you.
Another Pleasant Prairie gem is the Wooden Nickel. This quiet spot on Sheridan Road offers a warm wood decor, affordable drinks, and is not to be missed.
