Even during the coldest months, there is fun to be had outdoors. The trails through Prairie Springs Park are ideal for cross-country skiing across a picturesque blanket of white, dotted with trees. Another favorite winter pastime is ice fishing, and Lake Andrea is the perfect spot to catch a nice walleye or bass. And let’s not forget about sledding down the snowy hill in Ingram Park dedicated to wintertime sledding. For those who need a little more, visitors of all experience levels can head over to nearby Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.

Festive Traditions

One festive celebration unique to Pleasant Prairie is our Twelfth Night Holiday Tree Bonfire in January. Every year, we gather as a community for an epic bonfire fueled by our own holiday trees.
