For an athletic adventure, bike mile after scenic mile of the paved path that is the Kenosha County Bike Trail. The path can be taken from Pleasant Prairie north to Kenosha or south to the Illinois border and beyond. Fun fact: the path was paved over retired train tracks. This is just one of our many trails in Pleasant Prairie.
No textbooks here, but plenty of learning to do. Come visit the Chiwaukee Prairie. A rare example of untouched Midwestern landscape, the Chiwaukee Prairie boasts over 400 beautiful, preserved acres where grasslands, wetlands, and dunes intersect. Spring is the perfect season to marvel at the wildflowers in bloom, catch a glimpse of rare birds in flight, and witness fauna unique to the prairie.
